Commercial Development for a supply chain software start-up
Aim
- A US-based start-up had developed an integrated business planning software solution and was beginning to generate revenue. Cairneagle’s aim was to provide commercial and business development support in return for a minority stake in the business
Scope
- Cairneagle worked with the company to secure first commercial contract
- We assisted with product development, found opportunities to leverage software into new industry opportunities
- Cairneagle was also asked to advise on subsequent financing rounds
Outcome
- A Cairneagle partner subsequently became Sales Director of business
- The company now has a multi-million dollar valuation, and has global operations spanning the US and Europe
