Commercial Development for a supply chain software start-up

Aim
  • A US-based start-up had developed an integrated business planning software solution and was beginning to generate revenue. Cairneagle’s aim was to provide commercial and business development support in return for a minority stake in the business

Scope
  • Cairneagle worked with the company to secure first commercial contract
  • We assisted with product development, found opportunities to leverage software into new industry opportunities
  • Cairneagle was also asked to advise on subsequent financing rounds

Outcome
  • A Cairneagle partner subsequently became Sales Director of business
  • The company now has a multi-million dollar valuation, and has global operations spanning the US and Europe
