Case study: Due Diligence for an international school group

The group was contemplating the acquisition of a regional group of schools outside the UK.

The context

The group was contemplating the acquisition of a regional group of schools outside the UK.

Our role

We evaluated real estate and demographic trends, competitor landscape and parents’ attitudes in the catchment of the target schools.

We assessed the demand for, and supply of private education, the regulatory environment, and the competitive position of the schools, using a combination of desk research, interviews, mystery shopping, school visits and a bespoke online survey.

The outcome

Our client used our analysis and recommendations to support their decision-making and negotiation and acquired the schools.
